One of the greatest tragedies of the previous century occurred on April 14, 1912; the sinking of the Titanic. This ship, considered unsinkable, was known as the largest, finest, and most luxurious cruise ship ever built. Tragically, on her maiden voyage sailing from Europe to America, the Titanic struck an iceberg and sank within four hours. Over 1,500 passengers and crew members did not survive this disaster. Hundreds of them gave their lives in order to save many women and children. Most notable is the orchestra, who played courageously trying to reassure everyone until the moment the afterdeck disappeared into the waves.
